Art Nest transitions online

Four years ago, I started a little Art Studio to help people ages 1 to 100, activate and enjoy their creative side. Art has always been a place of refuge and joy at key points in my life and I wanted to provide the same for our Cayman community.

Within the first year we found ourselves outgrowing our first location and we found a new larger nest to fly to. With this transition, our programmes and partnerships expanded as well. We were able to service a large segment of the community through painting classes, workshops, team building socials and events of all kinds. We estimate that we’ve impacted at least 6,000 people in our community

The way that the community has embraced Art Nest has been overwhelming. Your support proved that Cayman really values creative places. Now nearly 3 years after we expanded, we are faced with a very different reality amidst the pandemic lock-down. What this means for us is that we’re moving out of the large physical space into the online space with much less overheads.

We have transitioned to provide online pre-recorded classes and art supplies (while supplies last). We aren’t quite sure what the future holds, but we know for right now this is the end of one chapter, and the possibility the beginning of another. We hope you will all keep the fond memories of your time with Art Nest close to your heart. And don’t forget to Keep Cayman Creative!
